In recent years, studies have shown that GLP-1 can regulate glucose and fat metabolism through mechanisms other than affecting insulin secretion and insulin resistance. Among them, the effect of GLP-1 on glucose metabolism in adipocytes is considered to be an important mechanism. This paper intends to explore the effect of GLP-1 on glucose metabolism in adipocytes and its mechanism.This paper will be divided into the following three parts:The first part introduces the characteristics, mechanisms of action, and clinical applications of GLP-1. The focus is on the effects of GLP-1 on insulin secretion, insulin resistance, and glucose metabolism.The second part introduces the effect of GLP-1 on glucose metabolism in adipocytes. The focus is on the effects of GLP-1 on glucose uptake, metabolism, and secretion in adipocytes. Discuss the mechanism by which GLP-1 regulates glucose metabolism in adipocytes through signaling pathways such as PI3K/Akt, AMPK, etc.The third part summarizes the above content and looks forward to future research directions.
