范文一Delegate:WangShichenSchool:ShanghaiXiangmingHighSchoolCountry:AlgeriaCommittee:EconomyandSocialCouncilTopic:InternationalmigrationNowadays,alongwiththerapidgrowthanddevelopmentofeconomyandscience,internationalmigrationhasbecomeacomplexissue.Mostcountriesworldwide,rangingfromNorthAfricacountrieslikeAlgeriatoAsiacountries,areconcerningabouttheproblemwhichtouchesonmanyotherimportantandrelevantnationalandinternationaltopic,includingrefugees,humanrights,racialconflictsandtheundeniablegapbetweendevelopedanddevelopingcountries.Inrecentyears,thephenomenonisturningmoreseriouswiththecontinuallyincreasingpopulationofinternationalmigrates.Notbeprotectedbythecountriestheytraveledto,themigratesalsoarenotsufficientlyprotectedbyanyinternationallaws,andstillnoconventionalagreementhasbeenlaunched.Regardingtheinternationalmigrationaffair,theinternationalcommunityhaslaunchedanumberofinitiativesandmeasurestotacklethisprobleminrecentseveraldecadesandprogresshasbeenmade.Establishedin1951,InternationalOrganizationforMigration(IOM)istheleadinginter-governmentalorganizationinthefieldofmigrationandworkscloselywithgovernmental,intergovernmentalandnon-governmentalpartners.With122memberstates,afurther18statesholdingobserverstatusandofficesinover100countries,IOMisdedicatedtopromotinghumaneandorderlymigrationforthebenefitofall.IOMworkstohelpensuretheorderlyandhumanemanagementofmigration,topromoteinternationalcooperationonmigrationissues,toassistinthesearchforpracticalsolutionstomigrationproblemsandtoprovidehumanitarianassistancetomigrantsinneed,includingrefugeesandinternallydisplacedpeople.TheUNalsorecognizesthelinkbetweenmigrationandeconomic,socialandculturaldevelopment,aswellastotherightoffreedomofmovement.UniversalDeclarationofHumanRights,proclaimedin1948,isacommonstandardofachievementforallpeoplesandallnationswhichhasmadegreateffortsonhumanrightprotection.Itcallsforallthenations,keepingthisDeclarationconstantlyinmind,shallstrivebyteachingandeducationtopromoterespectfortheserightsandfreedomsandbyprogressivemeasures,nationalandinternational,tosecuretheiruniversalandeffectiverecognitionandobservance,bothamongthepeoplesofMemberStatesthemselvesandamongthepeoplesofterritoriesundertheirjurisdiction.AsamemberoftheUnionoftheArabMaghrebwhichwasestablishedin1989withinotherfourAfricancountries,Morocco,Tunisia,Libya,Mauritania,Algeriafocusonthehumantraffickingproblem,andhumanrightsissue.TheAlgeriagovernmentwantstoemphasizetheimportanceofskilledmigrantstoeverycountry,especiallydevelopingcountrieslikeAlgeria.Thesituationofbraindrainbecomesmoreserioustheseyearsanddeprivesdevelopingcountriesofmuch-neededdoctors,scientists,professorsandotherskilledworkers.Algeriadesiresmoreskilledworkerscomingbacktotheirmotherlandandhelpestablishanewsocietyoftheirowncountry.Also,AlgeriasuggestsmorecountrieshavethesignaturesoftheInternationalConventionontheProtectionoftheRightsofAllMigrantWorkersandMembersofTheirFamiliestohavefurtheractionsonhumanrightsprotection.RecognizingtheprogressmadebycertainStatesonaregionalorbilateralbasistowardstheprotectionoftherightsofmigrantworkersandmembersoftheirfamilies,aswellastheimportanceandusefulnessofbilateralandmultilateralagreementsinthisfield,Algeriaiswillingtoseeabetterandappropriateenvironmenttothemigrantsandtheirfamilies.Inordertofightagainsttheseproblemsintheinternationalmigration,na...
