However, in the wet hydrogen sulfide environment, 16MnR steel is susceptible to corrosion, resulting in equipment failure. In this paper, the corrosion mechanism of 16MnR steel under wet hydrogen sulfide environment is analyzed, and the commonly used anticorrosive measures, including surface treatment, coating protection, etc. are summarized.
