Due to their unique microstructure and excellent mechanical properties, HEAs have attracted significant attention in the field of materials science and engineering. In recent years, the effect of different alloying elements on the microstructure and properties of HEAs has been extensively studied.Si, C, Cu, and Mo are important alloying elements that have been widely used in HEAs. Si is known to promote the formation of intermetallic phases and increase the hardness and corrosion resistance of alloys. C is commonly used to increase the wear resistance of alloys, but its addition can also result in decreased fracture toughness. Cu can enhance the ductility and thermal stability of HEAs, while the addition of Mo can help to control phase transformations and improve the fracture toughness.In this project, we will investigate the effect of Si, C, Cu, and Mo on the structure and properties of AlCoCrFeNi HEAs.ObjectivesThe objectives of this project are:1.
