TiO2 is known for its excellent photocatalytic activity in UV light, while PbTiO3 is known for its high visible light absorption ability. The combination of these two materials in a heterostructure is expected to lead to increased photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation.In this study, we aim to prepare TiO2PbTiO3 single crystal heterostructure and investigate its microstructure and visible light photocatalytic performance.Experimental Procedure:1. Preparation of TiO2PbTiO3 single crystal heterostructure:The TiO2PbTiO3 single crystal heterostructure was prepared using the hydrothermal method. First, Pb(NO3)2 and TiO2 particles were dissolved in deionized water and the resulting solution was transferred into a Teflon-lined stainless steel autoclave. The autoclave was heated at 200℃ for 24 hours, and the resulting product was washed with deionized water and ethanol, and dried at 60℃ for 12 hours.2. Microstructural Characterization:The microstructure of the TiO2PbTiO3 single crystal heterostructure was characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).3. Photocatalytic activity measurement:The visible light photocatalytic activity of the TiO2PbTiO3 single crystal heterostructure was measured using the degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) dye as a model reaction.
