However, there is considerable regional differences in the growth of installed wind power capacity in China. Therefore, this study aims to explore the reasons for this difference and propose corresponding countermeasures. This study uses literature review and statistical analysis methods to analyze the impact of factors such as wind power resources, policy support, technology level, and social and economic development level on the growth of wind power installed capacity in each region. The study found that the differences between the regions are small in terms of policy support and technology level; while there are significant differences between different regions in wind power resources and social and economic development levels, which directly affect wind power installation capacity growth. Therefore, for the different situations in different regions, this study proposes corresponding policy recommendations and technical measures to promote the sustainable development of China's wind power industry.Keywords: wind power; installed capacity; regional differences; cause analysis; policy recommendations
