However, due to data privacy and security issues, many organizations are unwilling to share their data, which limits the application of frequent pattern mining. Homomorphic encryption is an encryption technology that can perform calculations without exposing data. In this paper, we studied the homomorphic encryption-based frequent pattern mining technique in the cloud environment. Firstly, the existing frequent pattern mining algorithms and their deficiencies are analyzed. Then, the principle and application of homomorphic encryption are introduced, and a homomorphic encryption-based frequent pattern mining algorithm is proposed. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm are verified through experiments.Keywords: frequent pattern mining, homomorphic encryption, cloud computing, privacy protection
