Work in pairs. 结对练习。(1)pair 是可数名词，常用短语为“in pairs”，意为“成对地，成双地”，表示在两人之间进行的某件事情或某项活动。 Please ask and answer in pairs.请两人一组进行问答。(2)pair 还可用于短语“a pair of”，意为“一对，一双， 一副……”，后接裤子、眼镜、手套、鞋子等成双成对的事物。a pair of shoes 一双鞋 two pairs of trousers 两条裤子(3）“数词＋pair(s) of…”在句中作主语时，谓语动词的单复数取决于 pair 的单复数形式。Three pairs of jeans are in the bag. 包里有三条牛仔裤。2. Correct the spelling. 纠正拼写。 (1) v. 改正，纠正 e.g.The teacher returned to her room to correct exercise books.老师回到房间去改练习本。 (2) adj. 正确的；恰当的 e.g.correct pronunciation 正确发音 3. Practise saying the words. 练习说单词。practise 为及物动词，practise sth./doing sth.意为“练习(做)某事”。We often practise speaking English. 我们经常练习说英语。[拓展] practise 可以写作 practice。practice 为不可数名词，意为“练习，实践”。Practice makes perfect. 熟能生巧。4.
