Beginning with conceptual discussion, this thesis explores a way of philology, demonstration and comparative method, in order to find out the unique character of the Central Axis in Beijing City. Based on all study above, this thesis advances a frame of reference for the urban design and ① 本文曾经傅熹年教授、 王贵祥教授精心指导, 并获清华大学城市规划讨论院师生的帮助和支持, 于此致谢! 下载后可任意编辑urban plan.Keywords: Beijing, Historical research, the Central Axis1轴线的基本概念1.1 一些重要文献中解释的”轴线”概念在中国古代的文献中, 并没有明确提到”轴线”一词, 可是综观中国的传统建筑与城市, 轴线的存在是很明确的。不但如此, 我们在历史城市的进展与规划过程中也必定要用到轴线的概念, 此次又将北京城的中轴线城市设计作为一个专门的课题来提出。可是轴线究竟是什么? 是对称轴、 道路、 序列, 还是视觉走廊? 笔者于下文梳理其中较重要的几家之说, 以作后文立论之参照。《辞海》中收录了中国古代文献中出现”轴”时的字意: ①轮轴( 本意) ; ②引申为舵、 织布的器具( 杼轴) ; 卷轴形书; 中心或枢轴。③《朱子语类》则更加详尽地阐释了”枢轴”: 北极之中星, 天之枢也。……北辰, 即北极也。以其居中不动而言, 是天之枢轴。天形如鸡子旋转, 极如一物, 横亘居中, 两头称定。……感此南北极, 枢轴遥...
