The purpose of this study is to analyze the advantages and difficulties of BIM technology in construction project management, and to explore how to optimize the application of BIM technology. Through literature and field investigation, this paper analyzes the application status and problems of BIM technology in construction project management. The results show that, with the help of BIM technology, the efficiency and quality of construction project management have been improved, but there are also difficulties in technology, economy, talent and other aspects.
