Firstly, the basic structure and working principle of the water distribution pipeline of CCS hydropower station are introduced, and the importance and influencing factors of pressure maintenance are discussed. Then, the advantages and disadvantages of typical filling and pressurizing methods are analyzed. For example, the positive pumping method is prone to air accumulation in the pipeline, and the negative pumping method is easy to cause pipeline rupture. Based on this, an optimal filling and pressurizing method is proposed, which uses multiple angled valves and pressure gauges for continuously pressurizing, and then uses fast venting method to discharge gas in the pipeline. Finally, through comparative experiments, it is proved that the proposed method has sufficient advantages and can ensure the stability and safety of the water distribution pipeline of CCS hydropower station in the process of filling and pressurizing.Key words: CCS; hydropower station; water distribution pipeline; pressure maintenance; filling and pressurizing; optimal method
