Its occurrence is related to multiple factors, and neuroendocrine factors play an important role in its pathogenesis. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that plays an important regulatory role in the central nervous system, and its signaling pathway is mainly achieved through D1 and D2 dopamine receptors. Recent studies have shown that D1 dopamine receptor plays an important role in the occurrence of metabolic syndrome, and it is closely related to glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism, insulin secretion and other aspects.
