This article aims to explore the expression and mechanism of ING4 (inhibitor of growth family member 4) in breast cancer.First of all, this article introduces the basic characteristics and functions of ING4. Current research shows that ING4 is closely related to tumors and may be a key gene in tumor pathophysiological processes. Then, this article reviews the expression of ING4 in breast cancer. Studies have found that the expression of ING4 in breast cancer tissues is significantly lower than that in normal tissues, and low expression is closely related to the degree of tumor differentiation, invasion, and prognosis. Finally, this article discusses the mechanism of ING4 in breast cancer. Research shows that ING4 inhibits the occurrence and development of breast cancer by regulating multiple pathways such as cell cycle, cell apoptosis, and angiogenesis.
