Monocyte-derived dendritic cells (MDCs) are involved in the development of atherosclerosis. Previous studies have shown that selectin proteins participate in the process of atherosclerosis by regulating monocyte polarization and endothelial cell transformation. This study will investigate the role of selectin protein in MDCs and its impact on atherosclerosis. The MDCs model will be used in this study, and it is hoped that the expression level of selectin protein in MDCs will be experimentally verified to be associated with the development of atherosclerosis.Key words: Atherosclerosis; selectin protein; monocyte-derived dendritic cells
