Based on literature research and experimental verification, it was found that the expression level of miR-17 gradually decreased during the senescence of foreskin fibroblasts. Further experiments showed that miR-17 overexpression could promote cell proliferation and anti-aging of foreskin fibroblasts, while miR-17 silence could lead to cell aging and apoptosis. In addition, miR-17 may regulate the senescence of foreskin fibroblasts by down-regulating the expression of p21 and p16.This study suggests that miR-17 may be an important regulatory factor involved in the regulation of foreskin fibroblast senescence. Further research is needed to explore its related molecular mechanism, so as to provide new targets and methods for the treatment of foreskin diseases.
