However, the molecular mechanism of its formation is not completely clear. In this study, we will explore the influence of StPP2C and StABF on the formation of potato tubers from two aspects. By bioinformatics analysis, we obtained the gene sequences of StPP2C and StABF and cloned them, and then constructed corresponding plant expression vectors. Using plant genetic transformation technology, we introduced the expression vector into potatoes, and studied its effect on plant growth and tuber formation through qPCR, Western blot and tissue slicing. It is expected that this study can provide theoretical basis for exploring the molecular mechanism of potato tuber formation, and provide new ideas for potato breeding and yield improvement.Keywords: Potato tuber, StPP2C, StABF, genetic transformation, yield improvement
