The two translations being analyzed are 《Contract Law of the People’s Republic of China》 and 《The Contract Law of China》. This paper will compare these two translations in terms of their appropriateness of use of terminology, representativeness of legal concepts and principles, and accuracy of legal translations.Background：In recent years, with the development of economic globalization, the internationalization of trade has become increasingly important. As a result, the number of cross-border transactions and disputes has also increased. The problem of legal translations is becoming more and more prominent, especially in the area of contracts. In the context of China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), the need for the accurate and appropriate translation of《中华人民共和国合同法》has become more and more urgent.Methodology：This research paper uses a comparative method. Firstly, the two English translations will be compared in terms of their appropriateness of use of terminology. Secondly, the two translations will be compared in terms of their representativeness of legal concepts and principles. Thirdly, the two translations will be compared in terms of their accuracy of legal translations.
