The study of soil erosion patterns and mechanisms on different slopes is of great significance for promoting sustainable land use and ecological protection. This paper aims to explore the patterns and mechanisms of soil erosion on different slopes by collecting existing research results and experimental data, and proposes corresponding prevention and control measures to provide scientific basis for achieving sustainable land use and ecological environment protection.Firstly, the research results of the impact of factors such as slope shape, slope gradient, and terrain on soil erosion at home and abroad were summarized through literature review. Secondly, different types of slope shapes (convex, sloping, corner slopes, concave) and their impact on soil erosion were experimentally studied, including the impact of slope gradient and rainfall. Finally, based on the experimental data and literature review results, prevention and control measures for soil erosion on different slopes are proposed.This research is different from previous literature in that it focuses on the patterns and mechanisms of soil erosion on different slopes, thus providing scientific basis for achieving sustainable land use and ecological environment protection. At the same time, this research uses experimental research to verify the results, which are more persuasive and operable.Keywords: Soil erosion, slope shape, slope gradient, rainfall, prevention and control.
