However, in the environment, scopolamine may cause pollution to water and soil. Therefore, it is of great scientific significance and practical value to study its degradation mechanism.This study used photocatalytic methods to investigate the degradation mechanism of scopolamine and explored the effects of factors such as light exposure time, light intensity, pH, and oxygen content on its degradation. The experimental results show that under ultraviolet light, scopolamine is degraded by a free radical mechanism, in which hydroxyl radicals (•OH) are the main products.
