The use of language in communication has become widely recognized as a critical factor in academic achievement, personal development, and professional success. Therefore, this study is motivated by the need to explore the differences in language proficiency and the use of enhanced language in English discourse between Chinese and American college students.Research QuestionsThe study aims to answer the following research questions:1. The participants will be Chinese and American college students selected from different universities. A total of twenty students, ten Americans, and ten Chinese, will be used as a sample size in this study.
