Firstly, the research status and development trend of related fields are introduced, then the synthesis method of this compound and the conditions and process of intercalation ring-opening polymerization reaction are elaborated in detail, and the structure and properties of polymers are discussed. The experimental results show that this compound has good thermal stability, mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, which is suitable as a raw material for new polymer materials. This study provides new ideas and methods for the application research of dienyl dimethyl ammonium salt, and is expected to provide reference for the development of new polymer materials.Keywords: dienyl dimethyl ammonium salt, montmorillonite, intercalation ring-opening polymerization, polymer materials
