Therefore, screening low-cadmium-accumulation rice varieties and controlling cadmium absorption are of great significance for food safety and sustainable agriculture. The aim of this study is to analyze the distribution patterns and influencing factors of cadmium in different rice varieties, screen out low-cadmium-accumulation rice varieties, and study the corresponding cadmium absorption control measures.Firstly, a group of common rice varieties were selected through literature and field investigations, and root, stem, leaf, and grain samples were collected during their growth period to determine the cadmium content and distribution. Secondly, the main environmental factors affecting cadmium uptake by rice were determined through investigation and analysis of soil, water quality, meteorology and other factors. Then, low-cadmium-containing rice varieties were further selected to obtain excellent low-cadmium accumulation varieties.
