This study aims to investigate the cell toxicity and molecular mechanism of the Loxosceles spider venom. Firstly, proteins were separated from the crude venom using proteomics technology, and then cell toxicity was measured using the MTT assay and cell viability analysis. Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blot analysis were subsequently used to determine the cell signaling pathways and molecular mechanisms affected by the toxin. The aim of this study is to provide basic research support for further exploration of the biologically active substances in Loxosceles spider venom.【Keywords】Loxosceles spider; cell toxicity; proteomics; signaling pathway; molecular mechanism
