Inverting the radar data reflectivity factor is one of the important methods to study squalls. However, there are large errors in the inversion process, so it is necessary to combine the inversion results with numerical simulation results for assimilation to improve the forecast accuracy. This paper will focus on the application of indirect assimilation of radar reflectivity factor in squall numerical simulation, and try to use assimilation technology to accurately predict the time, location, path and intensity of squall occurrence.Keywords: radar reflectivity factor; assimilation; squall numerical simulation; forecast accuracy
