Firstly, the ray propagation model of non-circular cross-section pipeline is established based on numerical calculation method and finite element analysis technique, and its ray transmission characteristics are studied. Then, based on the model, the ray tracing method under low noise condition is explored, and the adaptive meshing technology is used to optimize and accelerate the ray tracing process. Finally, the detection effect and calculation time of different algorithms are compared and evaluated through experiments, and the feasibility and practicality of the proposed method are evaluated.Keywords: Non-circular cross-section; low noise condition; ray propagation model; ray tracing method; adaptive meshing technology; experimental verification.
