Starting from the definition, characteristics, history and classification of non-governmental organizations, this paper introduces the role of non-governmental organizations in international communication. Based on this, this paper focuses on the international communication of Greenpeace, including its communication methods, content, strategy and international influence. Finally, this paper discusses the relationship and interaction between non-governmental organizations and the three aspects of countries, enterprises, and the public, providing some ideas for future research.Keywords: Non-governmental organizations; International communication; Greenpeace; Influence; Relationship.
