Second language collocation knowledge refers to the short phrases that learners can use accurately and fluently in the process of learning a second language. The purpose of this paper is to explore the second language collocation knowledge of non-English major learners. Firstly, this paper will introduce the concept and relevant theories of collocations, and then analyze the formation, development and application of collocational knowledge in second language acquisition.
