The objective of this study is to investigate the preparation process and mechanism of action of EGF-E4orf4. Primary literature research and experimental methods optimization were used to determine the preparation process of EGF-E4orf4. In vitro and in vivo experiments were conducted to explore the mechanism of action of EGF-E4orf4 at the cellular level. The results showed that EGF-E4orf4 can inhibit the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathway, reduce cell proliferation, induce cell apoptosis, and inhibit cell migration and invasion.
