Firstly, we introduce the basic concept and research significance of ductile iron cooling wall. Then, we discuss the influence of microstructure morphology on the mechanical properties of ductile iron products, and analyze their structure and strength.Next, we introduce the principle and experimental method of solidification simulation experiment, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this method. Finally, through the analysis of experimental results, we draw some conclusions about the microstructure and properties of high toughness ductile iron cooling wall and its solidification process.Keywords: high toughness ductile iron; cooling wall; microstructure; mechanical property; solidification simulation experiment.
