The aim of this study is to molecularly clone, analyze the evolution and study the function of fish IL-15 and its receptor alpha chain gene family, to deepen the understanding of these cytokines in the fish immune system. In this study, RNA from the intestine, spleen, and head kidney of carp was isolated and reverse transcribed to clone the IL-15 and its receptor alpha chain gene. After cloning, the phylogenetic tree analysis was conducted to investigate the evolution of the carp IL-15 and its receptor alpha chain gene family. In addition, in vitro experiments will be conducted to analyze the effect of carp IL-15 on the function of macrophages and T cells, to further explore its role in the fish immune system.Keywords: Fish, IL-15, receptor alpha chain gene family, molecular cloning, evolution, functional study.
