Sale of 20 billion in 2024 and expected to achieve 100 billion in 2024. As direct selling rapidly developed in China, a number of adverse phenomenon have been emerging gradually that many direct sales companies expand business into colleges and universities which is contrary to the “Direct Marketing Management Ordinance〞 in China. In this paper, basing on questionnaire on recognition of direct marketing on campus and in society, we investigate the reasons that direct sales emerges in colleges and universities and analyze reasons that students engage in direct sales and conclude why students should not engage in.
