Title slide:Good morning everyone! Today my presentation title is effective oral presentation. My name is W L, and that’s my student number.Purpose slide:To begin with, what for or why do we need an effective oral presentation in academic communications? As we all know, the most important aspect of professional study is communication, and a good oral presentation is able to express our idea clearly and can be easily understood in a limited time. So we need it to enable us to communicate with audience smoothly. But how can we make it? Then I’ll offer some proposals from following three parts.Outline slide:First, script.Second, sentences and transitional words.Third, visual aids.Body slide 1:The goal of script is clarity, toward this objective, discussional form of script is encouraged. And there are two principles: one is old golden rule which means the structure of script should like this: first, tell the audience what you’re going to tell them; second, tell them; then, tell them what you’ve told them. Another principle is catering for limitations like time and material. That require speakers compact their presentation, conveying most critical message to audience. Then we should mind audience type, make sure your audience can get what you say and follow you easily. And rehearsals ensure you arrange time properly. Transitional phrases could arise audience’s attention and may lead a talk into summary to satisfy time-limit. To sum up, the above all serve communication between speaker and audience.Body slide 2:This is about speakers’ talks or expressions. First, sentences should be accurate, simple and short, getting what you say easily made sense. Voice should be active and passive statements and colloquial expressions are good. Using transitional devices like some words and phrases listed in text, that can make your presentation more logical and smooth. Body slide 3:The third part: visual aids. Main function of visual aids is getting speakers’ idea understood better. The rules of using visual aids: first, it should support understandingThen, it must accord with three judgements: will it add to my presentation? Does it relate to material covered in my talk? Is the graphic quality acceptable? If no, discard it. Some notices: visual aids should be simple, clean and concise. The structure generally contains title slide, purpose slide, outline slide, body slide and conclusion slide. If you want to talk something about the future, you can add the future slide behind the conclusion slide. The format is supposed to be uniform style. And colors of background and text too. It should look harmony. Check and rehearsal can help you find error of spelling, number and so on, refining your presentation. Conclusion slide:Now I prepare two questions for you:First:Second:These are open questions, any volunteers?内容总结(1)Title slide:Good morning everyone
