高中英语教学案例Highlights of My Senior Year教学课型: 阅读课一、教材分析:本节课是外研版高中英语选修 7 模块二 READING AND VOCABULARY(1)Highlights of My Senior Year 的第一课时。课型是阅读课,内容是一名美国学生对自己高中最后一年学校生活中的精彩片段进行回忆。通过这节课的学习,给学生提供一个了解美国高中学校生活的机会,从而使学生更好的了解世界各国中学校园生活和学生喜好等信息,对比中西方教育体制及校园文化的差异,从而增强学生的爱国热情及对学校的热爱。二、学情分析:该年级段的学生有一定的英语基础,对美国校园生活充满好奇,尤其对同龄人生活学习的精彩片段极为感兴趣,容易与作者产生共鸣,加上文章语言浅显易懂,因此只要教师积极调动,给学生表现的机会,指导他们积极主动地阅读,课堂会有极好的效果。三、教学目标:1、知识目标( 1 ) 、 重 点 词 汇 : highlight,settle, competitive, elect, suit, fit, match,rent, fun, meanwhile…… (2)、重点句子:a. It seems strange to think that in a few days’ time I’ll be walking out of the school gates forever.b.
