My birthday is August 2nd.”Ⅲ 教学难点:1、学会掌握序数词 1st-10th 的拼写和读法。2、运用所学句型询问他人的生日,并能作简要回答。Ⅳ 教具准备:单词卡,生日卡,录音带,录音机。Ⅴ 教学过程:Step 1 热身活动1、师生问好2、全班唱英文歌曲: Happy birthday.Step 2 复习导入1、复习序数词,引出序数词的缩写形式的教学。2、复习表示月份的 12 个单词。然后教师说:January is the first month in the year. February is the second month in the year.引导学生说出其它月份的类似的句子。 月份与序数词缩写形式的对应练习。3、问与答:Where is our school library / computer room… ? It’s on the … floor.4、揭示课题教师边说:Today is September 5th.边板书 September 5th. 后带读,接着说:Today we are going to learn lesson 2.板书课题 Lesson 2 并领读。Step 3 教授新课1、 教学句型教师说:My birthday is September 5th.问某个学生:When is your birthday ?引导学生用句型:My birthday is … .板书这两个句子,并多进行几个这样的问与答练习。把写有名字、生日日期的 10 张卡片,如:LiliJanuary 9thHu PingFebruary 3rdJackMarch 4thBillApril 7thPeterMay 5thSallyJuly 6thWang TaoAugust 2ndMiss GaoSeptember 8thLi MingOctober 11thLi HongNovember10th先读懂卡片上的日期,可个别抽读、全班读。然后再随意发给学生,并向他们说明,拿到哪一张就扮演哪一张卡片上的角色。1教师问其中一位:When is your birthday?(引导他们回答:My birthday is … .接着指着另一位,要求全班问:When is your birthday?直至把拿到卡片的学生全部问完。 用不同的形式进行以上的问答练习。 2、教师说:I love my father and mother.
