My birthday is August 2nd.”Ⅲ 教学难点：1、学会掌握序数词 1st-10th 的拼写和读法。2、运用所学句型询问他人的生日，并能作简要回答。Ⅳ 教具准备：单词卡，生日卡，录音带，录音机。Ⅴ 教学过程：Step 1 热身活动1、师生问好2、全班唱英文歌曲: Happy birthday.Step 2 复习导入1、复习序数词，引出序数词的缩写形式的教学。2、复习表示月份的 12 个单词。然后教师说：January is the first month in the year. February is the second month in the year.引导学生说出其它月份的类似的句子。 月份与序数词缩写形式的对应练习。3、问与答：Where is our school library / computer room… ? It’s on the … floor.4、揭示课题教师边说：Today is September 5th.边板书 September 5th. 后带读，接着说：Today we are going to learn lesson 2.板书课题 Lesson 2 并领读。Step 3 教授新课1、 教学句型教师说：My birthday is September 5th.问某个学生：When is your birthday ?引导学生用句型：My birthday is … .板书这两个句子，并多进行几个这样的问与答练习。把写有名字、生日日期的 10 张卡片，如：LiliJanuary 9thHu PingFebruary 3rdJackMarch 4thBillApril 7thPeterMay 5thSallyJuly 6thWang TaoAugust 2ndMiss GaoSeptember 8thLi MingOctober 11thLi HongNovember10th先读懂卡片上的日期，可个别抽读、全班读。然后再随意发给学生，并向他们说明，拿到哪一张就扮演哪一张卡片上的角色。1教师问其中一位：When is your birthday?(引导他们回答：My birthday is … .接着指着另一位，要求全班问：When is your birthday?直至把拿到卡片的学生全部问完。 用不同的形式进行以上的问答练习。 2、教师说：I love my father and mother.
