Methods The clinical data of 56 patients with chronic renal failure who underwent hemodialysis with skin itching in our hospital from March 2018 to March 2019 were selected， the causes of skin itching were analyzed ， and targeted nursing countermeasures for complications were given. Efficiency ， comparing itching scores before and after nursing. Results Of the 56 patients ， 34 had electrolyte metabolism disorders ， accounting for 60.71%; 17 cases had nitrogen metabolites stimulating the skin， accounting for 30.35% ， and 5 cases were allergic reactions ， accounting for 8.92%; after symptomatic care ， the total effective rate was 91.07% ; The score of pruritus symptoms after nursing was （2.11±0.33） points ， which was lower than that before nursing （3.77±0.18） points ，the difference was statistically significant （P0.05）.Conclusion Skin pruritus is a common complication in chronic renal failure patients with hemodialysis. It is mainly related to electrolyte metabolism disorders， nitrogen metabolites stimulating the skin， and allergic reactions.
