Every winner is a role model for young people. Colleges and universities have always been concerned about it. In recent years, with the continuous emergence of various problems, there are more questions about the selection of "three good students", among which whether the selection method of "three good students" is reasonable is the focus of discussion. This paper uses analytic hierarchy process to construct a new index system of "three good students" .As the same time, use MATLAB software to solve the index weight to get the comprehensive score of candidates, so as to give the final candidates, improve the disadvantages of traditional selection methods.
