GB/T 18254-2002 High-carbon chromium bearing steel 1.Scope This standard specifies the order content,dimension,shape,technical requirements,testing methods,inspection rules,packaging,marking and quality certification. This standard applies to manufacture of bearing ring,steel pipe,rolling elements made by high-carbon chromium bearing steel processed with hot rolled,forged round, steel wire,cold rolled. Continuous casting steel is not recommended to be the material of balls. Upon mutual agreement,it is allowed to supply other types & specification of steel or billet,details should be specified in contract. 2.
