HOMESTAY CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT To be signed by parent of international student, homestay family, international student coordinator and principal. STUDENT/PARENT STATEMENT In return for Education Queensland finding and supervising a homestay, (accredited and possessing a Blue card by the Commission for Children and Young People), I, ___________________________ (name of parent/guardian) agree to the conditions of placement as outlined below for ___________________________________________(name of student).  I will pay $____________. This will be paid in fortnightly payments and is to be paid two (2) weeks in advance. A holding fee will be required for school holiday periods, which will be 50% of the weekly homestay amount.  I understand that the payment of homestay fees may be made in the following manner. My preferred option is ticked a below: OPTION 1: International student pays homestay family directly (2 weeks in advance at all times); OR OPTION 2: Parents of international student pay homestay fees to the agent*. Agent pays homestay fee directly to homestay family (2 weeks in advance at all times). A copy of the receipt is to be given to the international student coordinator. *This arrangement is between the agent and the student’s parents.
