The composite material is prepared from a mixture of vanadium tetraxide (V2O4) and vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) and a mixture of barium oxide (BaO) and titanium dioxide (TiO2).The preparation steps are as follows: Firstly, the mixture of V2O4 and V2O5 is added to water, and BaO and TiO2 mixture are gradually added during stirring. As BaO and TiO2 are added, the color gradually changes to light blue. Finally, the mixture is maintained at 60°C under stirring for 30 minutes, then centrifuged and washed, and characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).精品文档---下载后可任意编辑The SEM results show that the composite material has many small particles with an average diameter of about 50 nm. XRD analysis shows that the structure of the composite material is monoclinic, and its lattice constant is significantly increased compared with V2O4 and V2O5.
