However, in the CESM Earth System Model (CESM), the simulation of dust emission is inadequate, particularly in the underestimation of dust concentration and deposition rates, which affect the reliability of model results. Therefore, this study aims to improve the dust emission model in CESM and evaluate and analyze the global distribution of dust using the improved model.
