Firstly, the basic principle and structural characteristics of electronic bandgap materials and the basic principle and classification of waveguide structures are introduced. Then, the combination of the two is used to explore the application of EBG in waveguide structures and its influence on the electromagnetic properties of waveguide structures from theoretical and experimental aspects.
