Firstly, the properties and applications of HDPE and PA6 are introduced, and the drawbacks of the two as the main plastic materials in the market are analyzed. Then, through literature research, it is found that HDPE/PA6 in situ microfiber blend can well overcome these shortcomings and has good mechanical properties and thermal stability. The research method includes introducing microcrystalline cellulose and modifier in PA6, and blending with HDPE through melt blending.In the experiment, microcrystalline cellulose was prepared by in situ isomerization method, and modified by anhydride in the conventional blending equipment with HDPE/PA6 pre-gel. The test results show that the prepared blend has good flow properties and mechanical properties, and the heat resistance of cellulose is improved. Therefore, the blend can be applied to the production of automotive parts, household appliances and other fields.Keywords: HDPE/PA6, in-situ microfiber blend, mechanical properties, thermal stability
