This study aims to explore the effect of HINT1 gene on the biological behavior of human melanoma cells A375. The HINT1 gene was transfected into A375 cells by transfection technology. The cell proliferation, migration, and invasion experiments were used to evaluate the biological behavior of the cells. The expression of HINT1 protein was detected by Western blot. The results showed that after the transfection of HINT1 gene, the proliferation ability of A375 cells decreased significantly, and the migration and invasion ability were also inhibited to some extent. The expression of HINT1 protein increased significantly. This study indicates that HINT1 gene can inhibit the biological behavior of human melanoma cells A375, and may become a new target for the treatment of this disease.Keywords:Melanoma, HINT1 gene, biological behavior, transfection technology.
