This study aims to investigate the effect of absorptive capacity and knowledge sharing on employee innovation performance in IT outsourcing environments.Literature ReviewAbsorptive capacity refers to an organization's ability to assimilate and apply external knowledge and information, which can enhance its innovation capabilities. Previous research has shown that absorptive capacity positively affects innovation performance (Cohen & Levinthal, 1990). In outsourcing relationships, client organizations can benefit from the knowledge and expertise of their outsourcing partners, which can improve their absorptive capacity and innovation performance.Knowledge sharing is another critical factor that influences employee innovation performance. Research suggests that knowledge sharing among employees can enhance creativity and innovation (García-Morales et al., 2024). In outsourcing, knowledge sharing can occur between the client and outsourcing partner, as well as among employees of the same organization.
