In CA, multiple carriers can be aggregated to provide a wider bandwidth, which results in a higher data rate. When an LET-A-CA-enabled network is available, mobile devices can make use of the trigger functionality to initiate communication without waiting for periodic beacons from the BS. However, the trigger mechanism requires accurate location information and may cause additional signaling overhead, which can affect the overall system performance. Moreover, the mobility of the device can cause additional channel variations, resulting in inter-band interference and handover issues.3. ObjectivesThe objective of this project is to investigate the impact of mobility on LET-A-CA and propose mobility optimization techniques to enhance the system performance.
