Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) has been recognized as an effective way to treat cervical cancer due to its precise dose delivery. However, the movement and shrinkage of the uterus during treatment can affect the accuracy of IMRT. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the motion profile and shrinkage rate of the uterus during MVCT-guided IMRT in patients with cervical cancer.Method:The study will be conducted on a group of 100 cervical cancer patients who will receive IMRT treatment. MVCT images of the pelvis will be acquired before each treatment fraction to assess the motion profile and shrinkage rate of the uterus. The external displacement of the uterus and its shrinkage rate will be analyzed using the Varian Eclipse treatment planning system. A correlation analysis will be conducted between the characteristics of the uterus movement and shrinkage and clinical factors, such as tumor stage and size.Expected results:The results of this study will help determine the extent of the external displacement and shrinkage of the uterus during MVCT-guided IMRT for cervical cancer, which will aid in the optimization of the treatment plan. The analysis of the correlation between the uterus movement and shrinkage and clinical factors will improve the understanding of the cervical cancer treatment process. Conclusion:This study will provide essential information regarding the motion profile and shrinkage rate of the uterus during MVCT-精品文档---下载后可任意编辑guided IMRT for cervical cancer. The results of this study will help optimize the treatment plan and improve the accuracy of dose delivery.
