The PhoP-PhoQ two-component signal transduction system is an important signaling pathway in Shigella flexneri, which has been shown to control the virulence of Shigella flexneri. Therefore, this paper aims to study the mechanism of the PhoP-PhoQ two-component signal transduction system in regulating the virulence of Shigella flexneri.In this paper, we will first introduce and analyze the structure and function of the PhoP-PhoQ two-component signal transduction system. Then, we will discuss the role of the PhoP-PhoQ signal transduction pathway in regulating the virulence of Shigella flexneri.
