RECK and MMp-2 are important factors in the occurrence and development of this tumor. This study aimed to investigate the expression and clinical significance of RECK and MMp-2 in SCC. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of RECK and MMp-2 in SCC tissues and normal skin tissues, and the relationship between the two was analyzed, as well as their correlation with clinical conditions. The results showed that the expression of RECK was significantly decreased in SCC tissues, while the expression of MMp-2 was increased, indicating that RECK and MMp-2 played opposite roles in this tumor. In addition, the expression of RECK and MMp-2 was closely related to clinical pathological indicators such as the degree of differentiation, infiltration depth, and metastasis of SCC, suggesting that RECK and MMp-2 may be used as diagnostic and therapeutic indicators for SCC.Keywords: squamous cell carcinoma; RECK; MMp-2; immunohistochemistry.
