It has been used in China for centuries to treat various ailments, including digestive disorders, respiratory tract infections, and skin conditions. However, there is limited scientific evidence to support its use and its pharmacological properties are not well understood.Methods: In this study, we will conduct a series of experiments to investigate the pharmacological properties of SJCS capsules. We will start with a phytochemical analysis to identify the active constituents in the formulation. Using in vitro models, we will study the anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral activities of the herbal extracts. We will also evaluate the safety of SJCS capsules by conducting acute and sub-acute toxicity studies in animals.Results: We expect to identify the active constituents responsible for the pharmacological efficacy of SJCS capsules. The in vitro studies will provide insights into the mechanisms of action of the herbal extracts. The toxicity studies will help us understand the safety profile of the formulation.Conclusion: This study will contribute to our understanding of SJCS capsules and provide scientific evidence to support its use in traditional medicine. The pharmacological data generated in this study will be useful for further development of the formulation and for clinical trials to evaluate its efficacy in the treatment of specific diseases.
