Operational risk is a common and important type of risk in financial institutions. This paper takes XX commercial bank as the research object, analyzes the current situation of its operational risk management, and proposes improvement suggestions.This paper first summarizes the definition and classification of operational risk, and introduces the characteristics of operational risk and the main factors that cause operational risk. Subsequently, the current situation of operational risk management in XX commercial bank was analyzed, including four aspects: risk identification, assessment, control and monitoring.
